Two years ago I had just set up my clinic in Southwell and in a bid to attract new business I tentatively rang up Penny at Life Magazines to ask about advertising; My expectation from previous experience was to have a tiny space on a page in exchange for an exorbitant bill. However Penny suggested we do an editorial and graciously agreed to have needles stuck in her face and be photographed! While some may call that mad I prefer to think of it as Life Magazines’ investment in me and my business; an investment that has benefitted both of us well.
